Ingredients

  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp mirin
  • 1 rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp agave
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 3 boiled eggs
  • green onion
  • 1 tsp furikake

Instructions

  1. Put 2 cloves of chopped garlic in  a pot and add 1/2 cup of soy sauce.
  2. Add 1  tablespoon of mirin, 1 tablespoon of rice wine vinegar, and 1 tablespoon of agave.
  3. Next, add in 2 tablespoons of water. Stir and let it simmer for two minutes.
  4. When it’s cooled down drop in the boiled eggs.
  5. Let it marinate for 30 minutes.
  6. Add wood chips to the smoker device that’s connected to the pot.
  7. Cut the smoked eggs in half and transfer them to  a plate.
  8. Drizzle soy sauce, and add in toppings of green onion and furikake over the smoked egg.
