Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups water
  • 8 tbsp agave
  • ½ carrot
  • 1 knob ginger
  • 2 oz. rye whiskey
  • ½ oz. ginger syrup
  • 3 dash Peychaud bitters
  • 3 dash Angostura bitters
  • 2 spray absinthe
  • 1 lemon peel

Instructions

  1. Create a syrup and mix 2 cups of water and 1 knob of ginger.
  2. Add ½ chopped carrot and 8 tablespoons of agave to the pot. Turn on the heat.
  3. In a glass, pour 2 oz. rye whiskey, 3 dash Peychaud and  Angostura bitters.
  4. Add ice, and pour ½ oz. ginger syrup. Stir the drink.
  5. Spray 2 absinthe and put 1 lemon peel to the whiskey.
