Hong Kong Style French Toast

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 slices milk bread
  • Crunchy peanut butter
  • 1 egg
  • Splash of oat milk
  • Vegetable oil
  • Toppings: Butter, sweetened condensed milk, peanuts

Instructions

  1. Spread peanut butter on the bread slices, then stack. Optionally, cut off the crusts.
  2. In a bowl, beat the eggs with a splash of milk.
  3. Dip the peanut butter sandwich in the egg mixture.
  4. In a large pan, fry the coated peanut butter sandwich until golden brown (2-3 minutes each side).
  5. Top with a drizzle of sweetened condensed milk, pat of butter, and lots of chopped peanuts.
