Ingredients

  • 1 immi packet in Tom Yum “Shrimp” ramen
  • ⅓ cup popcorn kernels
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp melted butter
  • MSG or salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, crush 1 packet of immi ramen. Pour the Tom Yum “Shrimp” seasoning packet over the crushed noodles and shake well to coat.
  2. In a pot, heat the oil on medium heat. Add 3 to 4 popcorn kernels to the oil.
  3. When the test kernels pop, add the rest of the ⅓cup of popcorn kernels in an even layer.
  4. Cover the pot, remove it from heat, and count to 30 seconds. This helps the kernels heat evenly.
  5. Return the pot to the heat. The popcorn should start popping soon.
  6. Gently shake the pot by moving it back and forth over the heat until the popping slows down.
  7. Transfer the popped popcorn to another bowl. Add the crushed immi noodles to the popcorn.
  8. Drizzle melted butter over the popcorn and crushed noodles. Add MSG or salt to taste.
  9. Toss the popcorn and crushed immi noodles until well combined. Serve and enjoy your unique Tom Yum Shrimp Popcorn creation!
