Coconut Fat Washed Gin

Ingredients

  • 5 oz. gin
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 1 oz. fat washed gin
  • 1 oz. cocchi americano
  • 1 oz. cointreau
  • 1 oz. lemon juice
  • ice
  • 1 tsp absinthe wash

Instructions

  1. In a jar put 1 oz. of gin and 1 teaspoon of coconut oil. Give it a shake and freeze overnight.
  2. Strain the fat-washed gin and put 1 oz. of it in the shaker.
  3. Add add 1 oz. cocchi americano and 1 oz. of cointreau,
  4. Squeeze and add 1 oz. of lemon juice along with some ice. Give it a shake.
  5. Add absinthe to the frosted glass and swirl.
  6. Strain and pour into the glass.
  7. Put lemon zest or peel into the glass.
